 We have read and understand the rules and have enclosed the completed application and our entry fee payable to BULLSEYE .  In signing this application, we hereby waive, and release all other contestants, sponsors, government entities, tournament officials and their agents to abide by the Tournament Director’s decision in all matters and agree there is no right of appeal from that decision. Receipt date of entry determines starting position. Check or money order must accompany this form to qualify for tournament entry. Entry Forms received for this tournament that are not completed and signed by both parties will not be accepted. Note: No application will be received after Thursday May 31st.

No contestant fishing in the tournament may live within 50 miles of Mark Twain Lake, nor collected over $2000.00 in total winnings from tournaments on Mark Twain Lake in 2006. NOTE: Because of a three fish limit, NO DEAD FISH WILL BE WEIGHED.

                                                                 ALL RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED

The following rules will be interpreted solely by the tournament director. The director reserves the right to reject any entry if he feels that it is not in best interest for the tournament. Entry forms must be completely filled out and signed by BOTH contestants. Any announcements made at the tournament site take precedence over written rules. All state and local laws must be obeyed and it is the contestants responsibility to know these laws.

Eligibility:.  Individuals and their partners with a paid entry and are 18 years or older. A parent or legal guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 18. No contestant may live with in 50 miles of Mark Twain Lake waters or collected over $2000.00 in winnings from tournaments on Mark Twain Lake in the year 2006.

Entry Fee: Entry fees are $100.00, which includes big bass. No refunds If the tournament is cancelled because of storms or no fish are weighed, winners will be drawn from a hat. All entry fees must be received by 7:00pm Thursday May 31st. 2007.

Pay Backs: 80% will be awarded back to the contestants in cash and prizes.  We will pay one place for every 8 boats. Breakdown will be up to the tournament committee.

Check-In: Live well checks will be given on the ramp prior to take off. Boats not receiving live well checks will be disqualified. Check in will begin at 5:30am.

Scoring: Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass that are 15” or greater will be weighed, (3) THREE fish limit per boat. Short fish will result in a (1) one pound penalty, plus the loss of the fish. NO DEAD WILL BE WEIGHED. Once the fish are turned over to the tournament official, contestants cannot touch ANY fish again except to choose big fish.

Sportsmanship and Safety: Safe fishing and safe boating practices are expected during tournament hours. Life jackets and kill switches must be used any time the boats big motor is running above an idle.

Protest: All protests must be submitted in writing to the tournament director within (15) minutes of the weigh-in completion. The appointed tournament committee will handle all protests.

Late Penalty: One pound per minute, up to (10) ten minutes, then disqualification.

Ties: All ties will be broken by take off position.

Tackle and Equipment: Any boat 14 feet or longer powered by a motor 10 horsepower or more with a kill switch and a functional bilge and a properly aerated livewell. All boats must meet Coast Guard requirements. Contestants may only use (1) rod and reel combination at anytime, only artificial lures no live bait: Contestants may use pork strips and artificial trailers. No trolling allowed

Locations: Anywhere on the tournament lake, except 50 yards from any gas dock or another contestants anchored boat.

Insurance: Boat owners must have Boating Liability Insurance.

Pre-Meeting: Ten (10) min prior to take off on the water. Any extreme violations will be grounds for disqualification from this and any future tournaments. Any rules changed at the lake by the Tournament Director supersede written rules.

Knowledge of these rules it the responsibility of each contestant: Failure to read these rules or ignorance of them is no excuse.

Alcohol Beverages: Neither alcohol nor unperceived narcotics are allowed in the boat, nor may they be consumed during tournament hours.
